Guest Ratings & Reviews
The hotel had some positives like a convenient location close to the Financial District and Union Square, but the rooms were disappointing for the price. Service was mostly good, with attentive staff, but there were a few knowledge gaps. The dining experience had limited choices and early closing times, although the quality was great at times. Overall, considering the steep hills around the hotel, it was a mixed experience.
My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The service was impeccable, the location was perfect, and I especially enjoyed the live music in the lobby bar in the afternoons. The only downside was the expensive dining options, particularly when traveling with kids.
Initially, we had interconnecting rooms but upgraded to a suite with a separate bedroom. The rooms were spacious and well-appointed, featuring a large bath, closet, desk, and chaise. However, it was quite humid after taking a shower. The service was top-notch, with staff excelling at their positions and being super friendly and extremely helpful without expecting tips. The location, although not on a higher floor, offered unparalleled service and was home to the in-house winery Willow Creek Winery, but the steep hills made getting around a bit challenging. Dining was on the expensive side but very nice, providing a convenient food option on-site. The facilities were modern and well-maintained, enhancing the overall experience.
My stay at this hotel was a mix of impressive views of the city from the rooms, but also a bit of a hassle with the location requiring a bit of a walk from the elevator. The value upgrade was worth it if you could enjoy all the offerings provided. Service was outstanding with a special touch for our anniversary, though the dining options were a bit on the expensive side. The central location near Union Square and the Financial District was very convenient.
I couldn't have asked for a better stay! The hotel exceeded my expectations in every aspect. The rooms were simply beautiful and very spacious, fulfilling all our expectations and even more. The service was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel right at home. The location was top-notch, within walking distance to Chinatown and the financial district. Although the dining was a bit pricey, the overall experience was fantastic.
The rooms were better than expected, and the included breakfast was a nice touch. The service was friendly and helpful, making up for one minor inconvenience. The location was convenient but had some drawbacks. The dining was a bit pricey but enjoyable. Overall, a pleasant stay with some minor issues.
The hotel is in a superb location, right next to Chinatown and within walking distance to Union Square, the Embarcedaro/Fisherman's Wharf, and North Beach. The staff are fantastic and very friendly, offering a range of services like car service and attentive customer care. However, the dining experience could use some improvement in terms of timing and variety of options. The rooms, although a bit small, offer a great value upgrade with access to club amenities. Wi-Fi might require additional payment, but the overall atmosphere and service make up for it.
